News just in! The Red Lion is to reopen tomorrow, 7th November, at 5pm for drinks and 6pm for food. There will be a limited menu as Renee and Bryan ease into their new roles. The pub will be open all day on Saturday and Sunday. Let’s lots of us pop in to welcome them to the village!
The Poppy Cascade is up! Thanks to Graham Clifton for this picture and for organising a group of volunteers to raise the poppies to the top of the church tower. There will be a Remembrance Day service in the church at 10.45 on Sunday, followed by a parade to the War Memorial. On Remembrance Day itself, Tuesday 11th November, there will be an Act of Remembrance near the cascade starting at 10.50am more….
