The nearest local train station is at Lower Heyford. But for more frequent service villagers often use Oxford Parkway, Bicester Village and Bicester North.

Oxford Parkway, Bicester Village and Bicester North

The trains at these stations are operated by Chiltern Railways. There are frequent services to London Marylebone via High Wycombe, to Oxford and to Birmingham via Banbury.

Buses and Taxis

Heyford

Heyford station is unmanned and is about a twenty-minute walk down the hill from Steeple Aston. The trains here are operated by First Great Western. This infrequent service runs between Banbury and London Paddington, often requiring changes at Oxford, Didcot Parkway or Reading.
