The Steeple Environmental and Sustainability Committee (ESC) came into being in 2021 at the instigation of the Parish Council to  ensure that the parish of Steeple Aston is a sustainable and healthy place for both residents and for the local environment.  The ESC is also charged to encourage and help residents to address the worldwide climate crisis, working with other local parishes and our own PC to optimise solutions to local issues.

The ESC comprises currently nine members at least some of whom you will know.  They are Martin Dale, Carl Tomlinson, Peter Sage, Radek Runowski, Deborah Dunn and James Hargreaves.  The chairmanship moves around on an annual basis and is currently held by Chris Nevile. The remaining two members Greg Elphick and Charlotte Powell are also PC members.  We view our mission broadly to engage, entertain, and enlighten the village with events and initiate projects to further our long term goals.

We welcome your input and questions so please do contact any of our members if there is anything we can help with or advise on.
