A fun-filled evening of music in a variety of genres performed by Brian Thomas and Harry Kent (trumpets) and Paul Herrington, piano.
Scott Joplin, Irving Berlin, Bach, Haydn, Gershwin, Purcell, Lloyd-Webber, Handel and John Williams to name but a few and you get to join in.
Paul Herrington will also perform one of his celebrated ‘off the cuff’ improvisations.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible to enjoy a spectacular evening of fireworks and refreshments.
The Recreational Trust and Village Hall committee will present a great display in a safe environment. Please do not bring fireworks, laser pens or sparklers to this event. Glow sticks will be available for sale at the gate.
Ticket price includes our special home-made soup together with a sausage in a roll and squash for the very young. t
If anyone has any wood to burn, please contact a Village Hall /Recreational rust committee member. Please do not dump any wood or rubbish outside the gate or in the field prior to the event.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

Join us at the Village Hall on Saturday, 14th November for a curry and quiz night raising funds for Princess Alice Hospice, in memory of former Grange Park resident Rachel Smith.
Rachel lived in Grange Park with her husband, Graham, and their three young daughters, who attended Dr Radcliffe’s School. After being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2012, she made the most of every moment with her family and friends. Rachel took early medical
retirement from her work as a GP and continued to enjoy her passions, including skiing and also took up triathlons. For her 40th birthday, she and several close friends completed the Blenheim Tri
athlon.
In 2017, the whole family moved to New Malden to be nearer relatives who could support Graham and the children. When Rachel’s cancer spread to her brain in 2018, she spent the final weeks of her life at Princess Alice Hospice in Esher. The hospice is not local to our village, but it was local to Rachel and her family after their move and provided them with outstanding care and support at an incredibly difficult time.
Rachel’s daughter Phoebe and Graham are now preparing to run the 2027 London Marathon for the hospice, helping it provide the same compassionate care to other families. Our curry and quiz night will support their fundraising.
Rachel and her daughters loved this village, and the family retains their connection to the village with the girls returning to see friends and visit Rachel’s grave in Steeple Aston Church. We hope you will join us for an enjoyable community evening, remember Rachel and help a hospice that meant so much to her family.

SACS Autumn concert will be A Celebration of John Rutter. There will be folksongs, anthems and carols in celebration of seven decades of compositions for every occasion
It will take place at 7.00pm in the Church.

Enjoy a lighthearted evening of mulled wine, soft drinks, mince pies, carols, readings and Christmas music. This is an opportunity for everyone, families, young and old to join in some community singing. So come along to the Village Hall at 6.00pm and celebrate a country Christmas. Everyone is welcome.
