Village Hall

The Village Hall can be found on Fir Lane between the church and the Robinsons Field recreation area. It was built in 1894 as the village school and used until 1969 for that purpose. Charitable funding, largely from the Heritage Lottery Fund, enabled the Hall to be refurbished and re-roofed in 1999/2000.

It has a large hall, a committee room, toilets, a kitchen and full disabled access. It is a charity run by a voluntary committee and the clubs that are regular users are represented on the committee.

It is used for a good variety of activities, including theatrical and musical entertainment, badminton and other indoors sports, and as a meeting place for a wide range of affiliated clubs and for village or private social activities.
