Lost and Found
On this page you can tell us about anything you have lost - an object, an animal, or even a person. We have had several emails from people trying to trace friends and relations they have lost touch with. You can also publicise the fact that you have found something which might belong to a villager. This service is free to residents of Steeple and Middle Aston, and those trying to contact them.
To place a lost or found message on this page, please email editor@steepleaston.org.uk. Remember to include either an email address or a phone number. Messages will normally stay on the site for a maximum of one month.

Missing tabby cat
Has anyone seen a tabby cat around the village? She was last seen at Westfield Stables. She is a dark tabby, wearing a collar and is microchipped and (sometimes) answers to the name Leha.
She is an outside cat and Cathy Fleet is cat-sitting her for a friend but hasn't seen her for over a week and she has not come for any food. If anyone has seen her please give Cathy a call on 01869 347000 or 07989 398838.

A child's scooter was left abandoned outside St. Peter's Cottage on South Side for several days. Sue Tyler has now stored it in her garage for safe keeping. If it's yours, or you know who it belongs to, please contact her at Chapel Hill, South Side or telephone her on 01869 347198 or 07919 540021.
Lost from Water Lane, Steeple Aston
A small porcelain cat with blue eyes, slight chip on the front paw which is almost waving a 'hello' has disappeared from my garden and I am very distressed as to it's whereabouts as it is incredibly precious to me and it was purchased on the eve of the last Harry Potter release and generally receives many compliments from my visitors. If anyone has seen it please contact Franky on 078911 18609 Thank you.
Lost ring
Lost: a ruby and diamond eternity ring. This could have fallen off while walking the dog and could be anywhere. If you find it please ring Judith Lane on 01869 349052.
